I’m Yasmin, a passionate photographer with a deep love for documenting the world as it is – raw, beautiful, and full of stories. My journey with photography started with a curiosity for capturing memories, and it’s evolved into a lifelong passion for photojournalism. The more I shoot, the more I learn, life is an endless exploration that keeps me inspired.
I’ve had the privilege of attending a National Geographic photo workshop in Mexico, where I honed my skills in storytelling through images. From the energy of live music to intimate wedding moments, I strive to capture the essence of each scene with honesty and creativity. My photography is driven by a desire to showcase the truth. I’m inspired by the works of photographers like Danny Clinch, Merri Cyr, and Mary Ellen Mark, who have captured the world with raw emotion and authenticity. I aim to photograph with a documentary style.
I dream of documenting cultures and humanitarian issues, from voodoo practices in Haiti to the unique perceptions of death in Indonesia. I want to photograph women’s rights and LGBTQ+ issues, bringing to light the stories that deserve to be told.
But I still absolutely adore capturing the core memories in life. Every couple I meet when photographing their wedding brings me such joy. Being a part of their special day, sharing and preserving their memories, is truly an honor. I approach each event with a desire to capture the real moments – the laughter, the tears, the joy – so they can be treasured for a lifetime. Thank you for visiting my world of photography. I hope to help you document your story, create lasting memories, and reveal the beauty in every moment.
